CHECKLIST FOR EARTHING CABLE, EARTH PIT INSTALLATION & TERMINATION

1. Ensure that the approved and new   materials have been used.                                                                                                                                                                                                  
2. Verify the installations are as per approved shop drawings / Details                                                                                                                                                                                                          
3. Ensure the Installed cable network looping is as per approved shop drawing.                                                                                                                                                                                                       
4. As-built marked on the drawing (Red Mark), if required.                                                                                                                                                                                                
5. Check Earth pit level  proper align & flushed with screed level.                                                                                                                                                                                                    
6. Check that the Top flange and the earth pit have been fixed                                                                                                              
   
                                                                                              
7. Ensure the Adapter fixing in the top flange.                                                                                                                                                                                                         
8. Ensure the Cable size is as per shop drawing.                                                                                                                                                                                                     
9. Check clamp proper fix with earth rod with cable.                                                                                                                                                                                                            
10. Test Link proper fix as per installation details.                                                                                                                                                                                                     
11. Ensure the Equipotential Bar is installed in the correct location.                                                                                                                                                                                                 
12. Ensure all the Earthing cables termination with the equipotential bar.                                                                                                                                                                                                     
13. Check the resistance of the earth pits                                                                                                                                                                                                    
14. Provide Label for earth pit
